A name or place entered in a search box is transmitted to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not retain or record those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be kept long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive basic technical information when a page loads:
- Page-view dates, times, and visit duration
- Your device's IP address

- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed during the visit
- The referring website, when available

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Live Oak County Criminal History does not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Its content identifies access routes for the Live Oak County sheriff and jail, local court clerks, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not compiled into a consumer report or a dossier about another person.
Third-Party Search Partners
Independent companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and disclosure rules govern information entered into those tools. We do not control those practices, so review the selected provider's policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Live Oak County offices, Texas agencies, court systems, legal resources, or outside search providers. Once you leave our pages, the destination's policy governs. Check it before providing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select targeted ads. We do not operate that tracking.
